Other Details to Note

Part of what makes Joshua Tree special is its wild animals. Rabbits, birds, lizards, snakes, scorpions, bobcats and coyotes are all part of the local healthy ecosystem. Your dog should always be supervised when outside, by an adult who is physically present, in extremely close proximity. Otherwise, your dog could be at risk. In an effort to maintain a secure premises, the house is equipped with one exterior camera. The camera is only on the exterior with a view of the driveway and the yard in the front of the house as you approach the door. The camera will not have any view the backyard areas or any interior space in the house or garage. Home is where the hearth is but our fireplace is for gathering around only, not to be used for fires. ◦GIVING BACK We give back to the community by donating a portion of profits to the Mojave Desert Land Trust, which protects the Mojave and Colorado Desert ecosystems and their natural, cultural, and scenic resource values. Neighborhood

Our house is located in the Friendly Hills Neighborhood of Joshua Tree and 10 minute drive to the National Park entrance. It’s a quiet residential neighborhood that backs up onto conservation land and the national park. The Friendly Hills Hike, a dog friendly nature trail, is walking distance or a 2 minute drive from the house. At night the stars are bright in the dark sky and you can see the twinkling lights of the Joshua Tree village below. You must acknowledge: • Lucky Rabbit is located in a wonderful location with equally wonderful neighbors whom we value and respect. • Dangerous animals could be on property – snakes, scorpions, bobcats, and coyotes are all part of the healthy high desert ecosystem. • Up to two well behaved dogs are permitted.
